Project Overview
This project demonstrates my approach to using AI as a strategic tool — not a replacement for human judgment. I used AI to accelerate ideation and production while maintaining human review to protect accuracy, tone, and audience impact.
The Challenge
Organizations often have important information to share but struggle with making their message clear, engaging, and easy for audiences to understand. My goal was to explore how AI could support the communication process while keeping human strategy at the center.

Finished Project Example: SWBNO Intern Communication Materials

During my internship with Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans, I worked on communication materials designed to improve clarity and engagement. I focused on making information more approachable so new interns could better understand what they needed.
How AI Supported My Process
- AI Assisted
- Used AI tools for brainstorming, outlining, and improving ideas.
- Human Review
- Reviewed outputs for accuracy, tone, audience fit, and alignment with the goal.
- Final Decision
- Edited and refined the final product before publishing.
What I learned
This project reinforced my belief that AI works best as a collaborator. The value was not simply producing content faster, but creating a stronger workflow where technology supports human decision-making. My process balances efficiency with responsibility by keeping review, context, and purpose at the center.
My AI-Assisted Content Workflow
AI helps accelerate the process. Human judgment shapes the outcome.
- Define the Goal
- Before using AI, I clarify what needs to be solved and who the message is for.
- AI Supports Creation
- AI assists with brainstorming ideas, organizing information, drafting content, and exploring different approaches.
- Human Review & Refinement
- I evaluate accuracy, tone, audience fit, ethics, and whether the content aligns with the intended purpose.
- Final Result
- A stronger message that combines AI efficiency with human strategy, creativity, and responsibility.
Why This Matters
My approach to AI is not based on replacing creativity or decision-making. I use AI as a collaborator that helps me move faster, while I remain responsible for quality, context, and impact.
